The shoot was in Bournbrook, . The project was Urban reality and there was a specific challenge - Composition - to capture the nature of this urban area. Members were asked to find strong diagonals, leading lines and reflections
There are big views so you will need to be selective about how much context to include in your pictures and demonstrate some creativity in compositions.
There will likely be lots of people around so opportunity for discrete respectful figures in pictures.
Meet at 14:00 in Sense Cafe on Bristol Road - Very close to Selly Oak train station, exit to Bristol Road, turn left over the canal and the first building is the Sense cafe. Or bus 11 not too far away or parking in the retail car park adjacent to Halfords - 3 hours max with CCTV monitoring. There is a hidden footpath between Halford and KFC which comes out to Bristol Road almost opposite the Touch Sense Pears building. Alternatively car parking adjacent to the Sainsbury’s superstore, free for 4 hours with CCTV monitoring. Suggest we reassemble at Carluccio's cafe in Sainsbury’s giant superstore at 15:45 for tea & a bun (and toilets). Carluccio’s closes at 6pm.There is an interesting hidden cut back on the line of the old disused canal under the store to steps up to Bristol Road and Selly Oak station.
