This is an enthusiastic group of people who enjoy sharing experiences while speaking and practising Italian .

All members have visited Italy and some have relatives who live in Italy.The majority of the members have studied Italian for a number of years . There are currently no vacancies. The host prepares the session and offers refreshments.

The sessions include ‘il compito’, the homework which can be talking about what we did the previous week , a holiday or our views on a specific topic .This is followed by an interesting activity that engages us all . This could be listening to an audio in Italian , watching a programme or reading an article linked to current affairs or something that interests the host. We usually translate the article , audio etc. and also discuss the article by answering questions and commenting on it. We finish the session off by playing fun games , one or two depending on the time left .

Occasionally we meet for lunch at a restaurant on an extra Tuesday . This is a relaxing session which allows us to get to know each better .
